Is Meghan Markle Promoting Weight Loss Pills? – Myhealthyclick

People seem to be obsessing
over everything that Meghan Markle has been doing these days. Recently, the
Duchess of Sussex was in headlines for guest-editing British Vogue’s September
issue that featured a group of women that was honored as “forces for change.”
In her guest-editing letter,
she shared some details about her favorite exercise regimen, known as Ritual,
which is a combination of yoga, barre, and Pilates.
Since then, fake online scammers
have left no stone unturned in targeting Markle with a series of comments
claiming that she has been endorsing and using weight-loss pills, as reported
by The Sun.
The fake online campaign
ads for “keto weight loss” pills included Markle’s fake before and after photos,
with some flakey quotes. The online ads were running on some websites,
including First Level Fitness, which were later exposed by an investigation
done by the Sunday Mirror.
Some ads claimed that
Markle has been promoting weight loss supplements as part of her new passion
project as she is obsessed with her weight.
However, Buckingham Palace has
been quick to criticize and shut down such fake online claims.
A royal spokesperson told
the Sunday Mirror, “This is obviously not true and an illegal use of the
Duchess’ name for advertising purpose. We will follow our normal course of
action.”
Although previous interviews
from the Duchess of Sussex have proven that she believes in “balance” when it
comes to health and wellness, it is extremely unlikely that she would endorse
or promote any weight-loss pills.
Nevertheless, it is
imperative to understand the fact that weight loss supplements can have
detrimental effects on your health, as they are not regulated and clinically proven.
